The competitive landscape
SUNDRIED sits in the ‘premium, luxury and technical functional apparel’ space, but also fulfilling consumer needs in the ‘lifestyle, street style’ space. Uniquely the brand combines a focus on the needs of the swim/cycle/run lifestyle (triathlon) without any ethical compromises.
A simple word mark with emphasis on the technical aspect of the brand. Sundried activewear features advanced technology, including anti-odour, UV protection, and temperature control.
Integration is a key part of the Sundried philosophy, where high-end fitness works in conjunction with leading therapists and nutritionists to enable an environment with a full range of health, fitness, and wellbeing services. This environment combines modern interior design with classic materials to create a calm and timeless feel. From studio to juice bar and retail boutique, screenings, exhibitions and personal appearances, the Sundried retail experience embodies the lifestyle element of the brand, often in collaboration with other best in class brands. Grass roots marketing embeds Sundried stores within their communities in the UK and internationally.
The long-term strategy was to have Sundried driven events across the globe raising awareness for its charitable causes and introducing unique way to experience exhilarating sporting challenges whilst respecting and contributing the the sustainability of the very elements that inspire the brand.
Each Sundried product is uniquely coded with a charitable donation. Once this code is entered online, the donation is pledged by Sundried and the consumer finds out what their ‘gift’ back is, including opportunities to share the message across social media, which acts as further encouragement for others to do the same.
Continuing the community feel online through website, iPhone and Android apps. Featuring personal training and exercise programmes, supported with guidance, demonstrations, FAQs and instant messaging, Sundried communities are established based on shared goals and abilities, connecting like-minded people for further support, encouragement and friendship.
Nutrition advice and inspiration supports the app and further enables the conscious lifestyle choices made by Sundried consumers.
